This project asks the reader to be introspective and reflect upon their experiences with nostalgia; To consider how what makes us feel nostalgic may be artificially manufactured to evoke positive experiences.
I want to present the reader with an argument suggesting that, while the feeling of nostalgia may be comforting, it does little to nothing to help us progress through life- In fact, many political figures, particularly those who tend to run fascist-esque, exploit the feeling of nostalgia for an imagined past- It is therefore up to us to move away from the cradle of nostalgia, if we want to move towards equality and a better world.
