HEAR THE VOICES OF THE FUTURE is a multimedium experiential design project, focusing on the relationship that the development of the futurism aesthetic had with other
aspects of culture.
It aims to immerse the audience into the world of futurism, and get them to better understand the importance of futurism as a design aesthetic. In addition, it aims to revise the way in which we, as designers, design for the future, by rejecting the western cisheteronormative canon of futurism, and archiving more marginalised voices, so that futurists are not just working with the status quo, but considering the experiences and hopes of people around the world. The archive will be co-created by people, for other people.
